Melissa Foree

Melissa (she/her) began as the CARE Coordinator here at KU in the summer of 2022. In addition to working here, she also holds a B.F.A. in Art History and an M.S.W. in Social Welfare from KU. Prior to serving as the CARE Coordinator, Melissa was an Undergraduate Academic Advisor in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. She previously worked with people who have experienced sexual violence as the Campus Advocate at the Sexual Trauma & Abuse Care Center.

In her personal time, Melissa enjoys cooking tasty food, playing rec sports, visiting places with her partner, and helping take care of their cats, dog, and leopard gecko. She thinks life is good when eating beans, surrounded by animals.
