Expanded Mental Health Support, Now Through the Mantra Care Hub
The University of Kansas has partnered with Mantra Health to expand access to mental health and wellness support for students. The Mantra Care Hub is your digital gateway to flexible, school-sponsored care — available at no cost to KU students. *Therapy services through Mantra Health are only available to students who have paid the wellness fee.
What’s Included:
Through the Care Hub, students can access:
- ConnectNow: Get in-the-moment support via phone or text 24/7, or by video from 11am–11pm CT — no appointment needed.
- Self Care: Access short, self-guided courses for managing stress, building better habits, and improving emotional wellness.
- Therapy: Connect with licensed therapists for one-on-one virtual sessions. *Therapy services through Mantra Health are only available to students who have paid the wellness fee.

Any KU students currently enrolled in classes can create an account on the Care Hub and utilize Mantra Health services. Some services require a direct referral from the CAPS clinical team. *Therapy services through Mantra Health are only available to students who have paid the wellness fee.
Mantra Health acts as an extension of CAPS. All Mantra Health providers work directly with our providers to support a student’s care journey.
The University of Kansas sponsors Mantra Health services, so the Care Hub is free to access. Most services—like Self Care, ConnectNow, and therapy sessions—are available at no cost to students.

The Self Care program was designed around dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills, which are made up of four modules: mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. DBT skills can support a wide range of non-clinical (mindfulness, life satisfaction, psychological flexibility) and clinical (emotion regulation, distress tolerance) needs.
