Emily Kubalik, MS, LCP

Emily Kubalik joined the Counseling and Psychological Services team in December 2023. Emily received her Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology in 2013 from Fort Hays State University and achieved clinical-level licensure in 2019. She’s worked in a variety of mental health care settings including college mental health, community mental health, and an acute/residential inpatient hospital.

Emily utilizes a range of therapeutic techniques to collaborate with clients to reach their goals and believes in tailoring interventions to each person’s unique needs and strengths. Her areas of specific training and interest include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-focused approaches, trauma-informed care, and evidenced-based approaches to suicide prevention. Emily is passionate about creating an accepting and affirming environment therapeutically and within the community.
