Hey Jayhawks! I’m so happy to be here at KU working with students (and eating crunchy chicken cheddar wraps again)! I graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work and Bachelor of General Studies in Psychology in 2022, along with my Master of Social Work in 2023. My introduction to social work was in 2020 while in school as a volunteer crisis counselor for the Kansas Suicide Prevention Lifeline here in Lawrence. Throughout my time at KU and since graduation, I have worked in a variety of areas from special education school social work, to inpatient hospitals and crisis therapy, to outpatient therapy settings.
As a therapist my primary goal is to make students feel seen and heard — everyone deserves a safe space to share their story and receive support. Navigating the world in college can be especially challenging; it is a time of so much change and growth. I want to make sure students have a place to sit with those feelings and learn skills to help manage all the unknowns.
I look forward to meeting with you! ROCK CHALK!
