Candice Townsend

Greetings! I’m a recent master's graduate from the Counseling Psychology program here at the University of Kansas. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Journalism, as well as a minor in Sociology, all with honors from KU. I’m a client-centered, multicultural, and social justice counselor, with a focus on dance movement therapy. My passion for multicultural counseling motivates me to serve diverse spaces and provide inclusive, healing, and counseling practices. I also have a passion and extensive background in competitive and performance dance. I served as a career counselor for diverse communities in the University of Kansas Career Center. My hobbies include dancing singing, enjoying music, social/cultural ventures, anime, and playing the Sims. I look oh so forward to meeting with students and creating a path for better mental health at KU!
